I hope everyone is doing well during these crazy times. I don’t really know what to say in regards to the corona virus. I’m sure there are a lot of blog posts and videos out there to inform us of what it is and how it is contracted.
As the number of cases continues to grow in my city, we are encouraged to quarantine or self-isolate ourselves and practice social distancing, which are very hard to do. Needless to say, we are encouraged to take all measures of precautions in order to stop the spread of the virus.
It has been 2 weeks since the quarantine has started and I feel like I’m going mad sometimes. I work as a therapeutic forster parent; therefore, I work from home. I have 4 teenage girls in my care and my 7 months baby girl. All my kids are off from school and are going to be off until May. It’s pretty challenging to try to find activities that the girls would be interested in doing while taking care of my baby who is very dependent on me at the moment.
So while I am taking care of everyone else, I decided to catch up on work and other things that I have been procrastinating on such as myself. I have been so busy lately that I barely had time to take care of myself. So my resolution during the quarantine is to invest a little bit of time on myself by doing things I love to do such as giving myself a facial, doing yoga, crocheting again, dancing, blogging more. These are things that I love to do, that I couldn’t do much of due to my busy life.
